ARTICLE 8:Operations
Section 8.1 Fiscal Year.
The fiscal year of this Association shall end on September 30,
unless otherwise changed by the Board of Directors.
Section 8.2 Books and Records.
This Association will keep correct and complete books and records of account, and will also
keep minutes of the proceedings of its Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and other committees.
Section 8.3 Inspection of Books and Records.
Any Director or Officer or voting member, or their
agent or attorney may inspect all books and records of this Association, for any proper purpose at any
reasonable time.
Section 8.4 General meetings.
The association shall hold at least two general meeting annually one
of which will be designated as the Annual General Meeting. At the Annual General Meeting, the Board shall
present a report of the activities of the Association for the past year together with an audited account of
the financial position of the Association. A Strategic Plan for the upcoming year should also be presented
and accepted by the membership.
8.5 Quorum.
The quorum at any General or Special Meeting shall be 10% of voting members of record,
represented in person or by signed proxy.
8.6 Motions.
Motions (apart from motions to alter By-Laws) shall be carried by simple majority of
votes of voting members represented in presence, or by signed proxy.
